Test program for dev boards

Hello,

I'm currently using an arria V GX starter kit, as a hobbyist, to design a risc-v 64 bits core. I'm looking at a stratix 10 GX dev board to have more room and be able to bump up the frequency of my design. However those dev boards are really expensive as an hobbyist, and I was wondering if there is any kind of "test" program where you can test a dev board for a few weeks before buying?
