Do you have an officially recommended PLCC socket to be used with the EPC2LC20 chip? We used to use the PLCC-020-F-N from Samtec but that has recently gone DMS. Thank you very much.

Thank you for contacting Intel Community. For your information, EPC2LC20 was obsolete since 2018, and sorry to let you know that there is limited support on the obsolete part. We don’t have the PLCC socket recommendation but there is a document that published the recommendation for selecting the socket of PLCC 20-pins. Kindly refer to AN 80, Table 4 for the details:
