How many Arria10 can be JTAG daisy chain together?

We are looking to connected 4 Arria 10 JTAG in daisy chain, but not sure if this will work due to the JTAG address of the arria.

Please let me know if anyone have done it and how to solve the JTAG address

    Thanks,

Then how about the JTAG address, I will like to understand how will the JTAG be able to differentiate between each ARRIA 10?

As in the A10_handbook, Table 116, I only see one IDCODE for one device.

If I have 4 same devices in daisy chain, they will share the same IDCODE, correct?

    Hi Wing Hock,

Yes, they are having the same IDCODE. Since they are using the same EPCQ devices, only 1 JIC file is needed. During the programming file conversion (SOF to JIC), you will need to attach all the 4 SOF file that you wan to program (attach the SOF first if you want the first FPGA to have this configuration data and vice versa for 2nd and 3rd).

    Thank You.
