DE4 Control Panel displays "Unsupported FPGA!"

Hello,

I am using the DE4 board with Quartus II 11.0 Subscription edition. When I bring up the DE4_ControlPanel.exe on my windows computer, I get the prompt "Unsupported FPGA!". I have also attached a screenshot.

I was able to write logic, compile it and program the DE4 board from Quartus II; so I know the board is not fried.

Has anybody else seen this? Any ideas or pointers would be appreciated. :)

    For those who encounter the same problem, the solution is to pre-program the FPGA using the DE4_ControlPanel_[2|5]30.sof to the board. After this is done, the control panel should be able to connect to the board.
