Why do simulation failures occur in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 20.3  for Cadence NCSim* or the Cadence Xcelium* simulators when  Efficiency Monitor Toolkit feature is enabled in the Intel Agilex® 7 device EMIF IP?

Description

One reason could be that the ADME module is not defined if the Intel Agilex® 7 device EMIF IP Example design has an efficiency monitor in JTAG mode and EMIF Traffic Generator 2.0 is not in the design.

Resolution

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 20.3 onwards.
