Why do I see preliminary timing warning messages for Stratix® II devices in the Quartus® II software version 5.0 SP1?

Description

The Quartus II software version 5.0 SP1 incorrectly generates preliminary timing messages for EP2S15, EP2S30, EP2S60, EP2S90, and EP2S130 devices. The Quartus II software generates the following warning message when you compile a design that targets these devices:

Warning: Timing characteristics of device <name> are preliminary

These messages are incorrect because all timing models for these devices are final. You can safely disregard the warning messages.

This issue has been fixed.
