Why do I get the message "Warning: No programming file generated." for a Stratix® II EP2S60 ES design in the Quartus® II software version 4.2?

Description

The Quartus II software version 4.2 supports programming file generation for Stratix^® II EP2S60 ES devices only for designs where the M-RAM memory is not used. This is due to a known issue with the M-RAM blocks.

The Quartus II software version 4.1 SP1 and SP2 supports programming file generation for all designs targeting EP2S60 ES devices, however these designs may experience problems reading the M-RAM memory.

Users of the Quartus II software version 4.1 SP1, 4.1 SP2 or 4.2 should upgrade to version 4.2 SP1 of the software.
