Why do I get the error "Exit code = 6 (Unrecognized device)" when I try to configure my device using the MasterBlaster cable through the JAM or JBC player?

Description

The MasterBlaster™ cable is not supported by the JAM or JBC player. Any attempts to use the JAM or JBC player to configure a device via the MasterBlaster cable would get the following error message:

Exit code = 6 (Unrecognized device)

However, device configuration with the source file as JAM or JBI format through MasterBlaster cable is supported by the Quartus®  II software.
