What tools can I use to verify IBIS models?

Description

The IBIS "Golden Parser" is a program that parses an IBIS model file to verify that it conforms to the IBIS specification. It is free and is obtainable from Free Tools for IBIS Modeling. All Altera® IBIS files are checked with the "Golden Parser" before they are released. 

There are different EDA vendors providing simulation tools for IBIS models. A few of these vendors and their tools are:

1. Mentor Graphics, Hyperlynx
2. Cadence, SpecctraQuest
3. Avant! Corporation, Star-HSPICE

For example tools such as Hyperlynx can provide a quick feel of how a design will perform and detect any exccessive ringing.
