Quartus Prime Software generates internal error when compiling Altera PHYLite for Parallel Interfaces IP core that does not use dynamic reconfiguration.

Description

Partitioned Altera PHYLite for Parallel Interfaces IP core that does not use Dynamic Configuration feature causes Quartus Prime software to generate an internal error during design compilation due to a bug in handling designs that do not use the IOAUX block.

Resolution

Do not use QHD partition or enable dynamic reconfiguration for Altera PHYLite for Parallel Interfaces IP core. This issue will be fixed in future releases.
