How do I enable programming file generation support for EP4CGX30CF23, EP4CGX50CF23, EP4CGX50DF27, EP4CGX75CF23 and EP4CGX75DF27 commercial and industrial grade devices in Quartus® II software version 10.1 SP1?

Description

In the Quartus® II software version 10.1 SP1, programming file generation for the EP4CGX30CF23, EP4CGX50CF23, EP4CGX50DF27, EP4CGX75CF23 and EP4CGX75DF27 commercial and industrial grade devices is not enabled by default.

Resolution

To enable programming file generation for these devices, download and install Patch 1.39 for the Quartus II software version 10.1 SP1 from the following links:

• Version 10.1SP1 Patch 1.39 for Windows (.exe)
• Version 10.1SP1 Patch 1.39 for Linux (.tar)
• Readme for the Quartus II software version 10.1SP1 Patch 1.39 (.txt)

Support for these devices is enabled by default beginning with the Quartus II software version 11.0.
