How can I program the EPC1 device using an EPC1441 POF with third-party programmer?

Description

Altera® tools do support programming EPC1 device with an EPC1441 POF using the Programmer in Quartus® II Software. Third-party program doesn’t support this. EPC1441 POF can be converted to EPC1 POF using the following steps:

1.        Select the APU as the programming hardware

2.       Load the EPC1441 POF in the Programmer

3.       Program the 1441 POF into an EPC1

4.       Delete the EPC1441 POF from the Programmer window

5.       Add an EPC1 from the Select Device dialog

6.       Examine the EPC1

7.       Save the examined data

 

The examined data now is an EPC1 POF.
