How can I change multiple cell values at the same time within the Assignment Editor?

Description

There are various ways to change multiple cell values within the Assignment Editor in the Quartus^® II software. 2 methods are detailed below.

Method 1:

1. Select the target cells using the Shift or Ctrl keys
2. Enter the desired value in the Edit bar
3. Click the Accept checkmark button

Method 2:

1. Select a cell to copy
2. Copy the contents using the Ctrl-C key combination
3. Select the target cells
4. Press the Ctrl-V key combination to paste the contents into all of the selected cells
