How can I assign pin locations in the block diagram editor or text editor in the Quartus® II software?

Description

To assign pin locations from the block diagram editor or text editor, highlight a pin or pin name, then right-click and select Assignment Editor to open the Assignment Editor with the appropriate signal highlighted in the node filter. You can then quickly and easily make a location (or any other) assignment to the pin.
