Are there any known issues with the Cyclone III, Cyclone IV and Cyclone V PowerPlay Early Power Estimator (EPE) version 11.1sp2?

Description

Yes, when targeting a Cyclone® IV E device in the U14 package, VCCINT defaults to 1.0V in the EPE version 11.1sp2.  The correct voltage should be 1.2V. Cyclone IV E devices in the U14 package do not support a VCCINT of 1.0V

Resolution

You need to change the Temperature Grade to Extended in order for the EPE to correctly select 1.2V for VCCINT.

This will be fixed in a future version of the EPE.
