Description

You may observe this error message when installing the USB-Blaster driver from the Quartus® II software version 9.0 SP2 and earlier on Windows Vista 64-bit. To resolve this issue, upgrade the USB-Blaster driver  to the version shipped with the Quartus II software version 9.1.

 

This problem has been fixed beginning with the Quartus II software version 9.1.
