Why the simulation of Intel Agilex® 7 device EMIF for Hard Processor Subsystem is hang?

Description

The Intel Agilex® 7 FPGA for Hard Processor Subsystem is not supported for simulation in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.

The connection between the HPS-to-EMIF path and the HPS is a hardened connection that cannot be modeled in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.

In the Platform Designer, the connection appears as a logical conduit that does not match the physical connection or connect to the software design.

Resolution

There is no workaround for this problem.
