Why is there a mismatch between the data received by the AVST Credit Sink BFM and data output from the API?
Description
Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro edition software, you may see the data from the AVST Credit BFM Sink API does not match the the actual data driven into the BFM. The error occurs when USER_SIGNALS = 1 and any of the following APIs are used
- get_user_signal_per_symbol_data()
- pop_user_signal_per_symbol_transaction()
- get_user_signal_per_packet_data()
- pop_user_signal_per_packet_transaction()
Resolution
To workaround this problem, do not enable USER_SIGNALS.
This problem is fixed beginning with version 20.2 of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software.
