Why is the Intel® Stratix® 10 MX and Intel® Stratix® 10 TX device internal Temperature Sensing Diode (TSD) readout always stuck at  25 degrees Celsius?

Description

Due to a problem in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 18.1 and later, the internal TSD readout from Intel® Stratix® 10 MX and TX devices is always stuck at 25 degrees Celsius.

This only impacts the following production device variants:

• Intel® Stratix® 10 MX 1650
• Intel® Stratix® 10 MX 2100
• Intel® Stratix® 10 TX 1650
• Intel® Stratix® 10 TX 2100

Resolution

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 18.1.1.
