The delay value for a delay chain setting could be different between the Quartus® II software versions 10.0 SP1 and 11.0 in the delay chain summary report.

The Quartus II software could use different PVT corners when reporting the delay chain value from version to version.

Timequest shows the delay chain paths are identical in the Quartus II software versions 10.0 SP1 and 11.0 for the same PVT corner.

Resolution

You may use the actual settings in the delay chain summary reports and run the TimeQuest timing analyzer when comparing the delay chain delay values between these two Quartus II software versions.
