Why is the ClockControl application unable to locate the USB-Blaster download cable when launched?

Description

After launching the ClockControl application, you may find that it is unable to locate the Quartus®  II software or the USB-Blaster™ download cable as this application is dependent on the Quartus II software version it was developed for.

Resolution

You need to install the same version of the Quartus II software that the ClockControl application was developed for and set the to the related path in the environment variables.
