Why is the Classic Timing Analyzer report not highlighted in red even when there are timing violations?

Description
Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 10.0 and 10.0 SP1, the Classic Timing Analyzer report may not be highlighted in red even when there are timing violations.
Resolution

To work around this problem, you must open the Classic Timing Analyzer report to verify whether your design has timing violations.

Alternatively, use the TimeQuest timing analyzer. The Classic Timing Analyzer has been discontinued since the Quartus II software version 10.1.
