Why is "Create SignalTap II List File" disabled on the Quartus II File menu?

Description

Due to a problem in Quartus® II sofware version 12.0 SP2 and earlier, on the File menu, when you point to Create/Update, the Create SignalTap II List File option is disabled.

Resolution

To work around this problem, right-click in the SignalTap™ II data window and select Create SignalTap II List File.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II software.
