Why is Configuration via Protocol (CvP) of Arria V or Cyclone V devices failing with files generated from the Quartus II software version 12.1?

Description

Due to a known software issue, CvP will fail to work correctly for both Arria® V and Cyclone® V devices with files generated from the Quartus® II software version 12.1

Resolution

This issue is scheduled to be fixed in a future version of the Quartus II software.
