Why I cannot use UART Core on Cyclone® V?

Description

No, you can use UART core on Cyclobe V.

Due to the problem of “Embedded Peripherals IP User Guide”, incorrect “Supported Devices” list was added to some IPs such as Compact Flash Core, JTAG UART Core, UART Core, 16550 UART Core, PIO Core, Mutex Core and so on.

Valid IP can be found in Qsys when to set correct device.

Resolution

These lists will be removed in future release.
