Why does the transceiver toolkit not work correctly when using the 100G Interlaken Intel® FPGA IP on the Intel® Arria®10 devices?

Description

Due to a problem with the 100G Interlaken Intel® FPGA on the Intel® Arria®10 devices, unreliable Transceiver Toolkit operation will be observed  when using the Intel® Quartus® Prime Edition software version 19.1 or earlier.

For example the CDR unlock in serial loopback mode, and the test pattern might fail to change.

Resolution

This problem is fixed beginning with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 19.2
