Why does the TimeQuest Timing Analyzer report the wrong frequency for my Native Phy IP?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 14.0 and earlier, you may see an incorrect frequency reported in the TimeQuest Timing Analyzer for the Native Phy IP. This problem occurs when the Native Phy IP uses an external PLL.

Resolution

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus II software version 14.1.
