Why does the Stratix V device Early Power Estimator (EPE) not show the 18x18 Complex Multiplier configuration in the DSP tab?

Description

The Stratix® V device Early Power Estimator (EPE) does not show the 18x18 Complex Multiplier configuration in the DSP tab even though it is supported for the device family.

Resolution

You can use the 36x36 configuration or two blocks of 18x18 Sum-of-2 configuration to get the 18x18 Complex Multiplier configuration in the EPE.
