Why does the SDI II IP Design Example compilation fail when performing an IP upgrade?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 25.1.1 and earlier, the SDI II IP Design Example compilation fails after performing an IP Upgrade from any previous version to version 25.1.1.

Resolution

This issue occurs due to a significant increase in the DR MIF (Memory Initialization File) size in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 25.1.1. When upgrading the SDI II Design Example from Quartus® version 25.1 or earlier to 25.1.1, the compilation will fail due to insufficient DR memory allocation.

To work around this problem, manually increase the DR memory size in the design to accommodate the larger MIF size, or generate a clean non-upgraded design example in 25.1.1.
This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
