Why does the Resource Property Editor not display the output register even though it is being used?

Description

Due to a problem in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 17.1, you may see the Resource Property Editor does not show the fast output register as enabled even though it is used. This problem occurs on design targetting Stratix® 10 devices. 

Resolution

The correct information is displayed in the compilation report under section Fitter > Plan Stage > Output Pin > column Ouput Register for the specific pin.

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 18.0.
