Why does the read_status port on the ALTASMI_PARALLEL Intel® FPGA IP not return the correct status?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software version 13.1, the read_status port of the ALTASMI_PARALLEL Intel® FPGA IP does not return the correct status on the dataout port.

Resolution

This problem is fixed in the Quartus II software v14.0.
