Why does the R-tile Avalon® Streaming Intel® FPGA IP for PCI Express* not respond with Configuration Request Retry Status (CRS) when pX_app_req_retry_en_i[7] is asserted in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.3 and earlier?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.3 and earlier, the R-tile Avalon® Streaming Intel® FPGA IP for PCI Express* might not respond with Configuration Request Retry Status (CRS) when the pX_app_req_retry_en_i[7] signal is asserted. This applies to physical function 7 (PF7) when the IP is in configuration mode 0 (1x16) or in configuration mode 1 (2x8).

Resolution

This problem is fixed in version 22.4 of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
