Why does the memory test hang after triggering the BIST_MEM_INIT_START command?

Description

Due to a problem in Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.3, memory BIST will hang when running BIST_MEMORY_INIT and BIST_STANDARD_MODE_START back-to-back without the user inserting an additional delay.

Resolution

To work around this problem in Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.3, you need to insert a delay of at least 3 seconds between the BIST_MEM_INIT_START and BIST_MEM_INIT_STATUS commands.

This problem will be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
