Why does the Intel® Arria® 10 Hard IP for PCI Express Avalon-MM mode VHDL simulation fail in NCSim?

Description

Due to a problem with the Arria® 10 Hard IP for PCI® Express when in Avalon-MM mode, VHDL simulation is not supported under NCSim.

Errors in the form below will be observed if you attempt this unsupported flow and source the ncsim_setup.sh script:

Resolution

This issue is expected and is not currently scheduled to be fixed.
