Why does the HDMI 2.1 example design of the Intel® Arria® 10 device fail to work?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software starting from version 22.1, no HDMI video output is displayed when using the Intel® Arria® 10 HDMI 2.1 example design with FRL mode enabled.

Resolution

To work around this problem, you need to remove the System ID Peripheral Intel FPGA IP from nios.qsys.

This problem is currently scheduled to be resolved in a future release of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
