Why does the F-Tile FHT Transceiver Toolkit RX PRBS checker immediately display a large number of error bits upon starting it and doesn’t change anymore in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v22.1?

Description

Due to a problem with the Programmer in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.1, the F-Tile FHT Transceiver Toolkit RX PRBS checker immediately displays a large number of error bits as the start button is pressed.

Resolution

This problem is fixed beginning with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.3.
To work around this problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v22.2 or earlier, follow these steps:

1. Program the device with the Programmer in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v21.4 and earlier.
2. Run the F-Tile FHT Transceiver Toolkit in the Intel Quartus Prime Pro Edition Software v22.1.
