Why does the Design Space Explorer stop when I select the "Stop after any exploration point meets timing" option if no exploration point has met timing?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.1 and earlier, the Design Space Explorer stops running when no exploration has met timing, even if the  "Stop after any exploration point meets timing" option is selected.

 

 

Resolution

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.

 

To work around this error, uncheck the "Stop after any exploration point meets timing" option and review each project Timing report.
