Why does the Design Assistant fail to report a violation of Rule R105 for my design?

Description

Due to a problem with the Quartus® II software versions 9.1 and later, the Design Assistant may not flag violations of Rule R105 for designs that should trigger the rule check. If your design contains a reset signal that is generated in one clock domain and used in an asynchronous clock domain, Rule R105 checks whether that reset signal is correctly synchronized.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus II software.
