Why does the "Create New Waiver" window fail to open when launched from the Timing Analyzer Report DRC report?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.1 and earlier, you may see the "Create New Waiver" window fail to open when launched from the Timing Analyzer Report DRC report.

Resolution

To work around this problem, launch the "Create New Waiver" window by right clicking on the Design Assistant report from within the Compilation Report.

This problem is fixed in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.2
