Why does the Block Diagram File not show the pin assignment location when Show Location Assignments setting is enabled?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software version 17.1 or earlier, you may not see any pin assignment shown in the Block Diagram File(.bdf).

Resolution

There is no workaround. This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of Intel Quartus Prime Standard Edition software.
