Why does my plain-text Nios II license not work with Qsys in 12.0sp2 and earlier software versions?

Description

An issue has been identified where Qsys IP generation will not check for the existance for a plain text (source) license for Nios® II in the Quartus® II software versions 12.0sp2 and earlier.  SOPC Builder is unaffected by this issue.

Resolution

This issue is scheduled to be fixed in a future version of Qsys.
