Why does my ethernet link partner report FCS errors when connected to 400GE-8 or 200GE-4 variants of the F-Tile Ethernet FPGA Hard IP when using the FGT PMA transceivers with ANLT over 1m of cable?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.2 and later, ethernet link partners might report FCS errors when connected to 400GE-8 or 200GE-4 variants of the F-Tile Ethernet FPGA Hard IP when using ANLT with FGT PMA transceivers over 1m of cable.

Resolution

There is no workaround for this problem.

This problem has been fixed in version 24.2 of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
