Why does grouping and ungrouping signals in the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer require recompilation?

Description

Changing how signals are grouped in the SignalTap™ II Logic Analyzer when the basic OR trigger is selected changes the logic which then requires a recompilation.

Resolution

If you would like to change how signals are grouped, duplicate the signals in the Data tab. Grouping on duplicated signals doesn\'t affect the trigger condition.
