Why does configuration fail to recover after unsuccessful initial configuration using JTAG, Avalon-ST, or ASx4 configuration scheme on Intel Agilex® 7 M-Series devices?

In the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.2, you might observe intermittent failure to recover with a good image for JTAG, Avalon-ST, or ASx4 configuration scheme on Intel Agilex® 7 M-Series devices after an unsuccessful initial configuration with a corrupted image.  

Resolution

To work around this problem, power cycle Intel Agilex® 7 M-Series device and configure it with a good image.
This problem is planned to be fixed in a future release of Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
