Why does 10Gb Ethernet MAC example design in Application Note 638 fail when using Open Core plus license?
Description
10Gb Ethernet MAC example design in the Application Note 638 doesn't work if you compile the design with Open Core plus license.The procedure written in the Application Note 638 is not appropriate if you use Open Core plus license.
If you compile the design with Open Core plus license, time limited SOF file is generated.
To configure the SOF file, you need to use Quartus® II programmer instead of nios2-configure-sof command as written in the Application Note 638.
After you configure the FPGA by Quartus II programmer, you can open a Nios II command shell and type "system-console".
