Why do the EthernetBlaster II Ethernet (RJ45) LEDs not light up when connected to a 1000Mbps Ethernet port?

Description

On the EthernetBlaster II Communications Cable there is a Status LED and Ethernet (RJ45) activity/connection LEDs. When connected to a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port the LEDs will light up and show connection and activity, but when connected to a 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps) Ethernet port the LEDs will not light up. This is expected behavior and is not an EthernetBlaster II issue.

The EthernetBlaster II is 100% functional when used with a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port.
