Why do o_tx_reset_ack and o_rx_reset_ack signals of the GTS transceiver not behave as expected when reset is being performed multiple times during bootup in bonded x6 and x8 configurations?
Description
Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 25.1.1 and earlier, you may see that o_tx_reset_ack and o_rx_reset_ack don’t behave as expected when reset is being performed multiple times during bootup in bonded x6 and x8 configurations.
A longer reset pulse width is required when in bonded x6 and x8 configurations.
Resolution
To work around this problem, for x6 and x8 configurations, it is recommended for users to keep at least a 100ns reset pulse width.
This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software.
