Why do I see the RBF file size exceed the maximum file size of Stratix 10 datasheet

Description

You may see generated RBF file size exceed the maximum file size of Stratix ®10 datasheet, if you using Stratix 10 ES device ,and compile the project by Quartus 17.1 IR2. 

Resolution

This is known issue of Stratix 10 ES device. ES device bitstream file size would exceed Stratix datasheet states.

If you compile the design of production device with Quartus 17.1, the bitstream file size would follow the datasheet.
