Why do I see the data corruption with Intel® Arria® 10 FPGA DDR4 IP when the calibration passes consistently?
Description
You might observe a failure in traffic (TG) while calibration can pass with Intel® Arria® 10 FPGA DDR4 intellectual property for memory parts that require tRFC (Refresh Cycle Time) to be set above 350ns, and are operating above 800 MHz. This is most likely to impact 16Gb DDR4 base die, regardless of memory format (E.g., Discrete Components, UDIMM, SODIMM, RDIMM and LRDIMM).
Resolution
Please contact Intel® Premier Support (IPS) or Intel® Forum support if your memory part requires tRFC to be set above 350ns.
