Why do I see Analysis & Elaboration report panels missing in the synthesis report after running the Synthesis task?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.3, when you run the Synthesis task after the Analysis & Elaboration task, the following report panels from Analysis & Elaboration may disappear from the Synthesis report:

“Hierarchies Optimized Away During Sweep”

“Top Causes of Logic Optimized Away During Sweep “

“SDC on RTL File List”

Resolution

To workaround this problem, run the Analysis & Synthesis task, which will run Analysis & Elaboration and Synthesis as one step.

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.1.
